Reverend Dennis Bailey, pastor, gives the message at each service. A native of Minburn, Iowa, he most recently pastored at the Methodist Church in Britt. Pastor Bailey came to Independence in 1997.

"I think we have a lot of wonderful people, wonderful leadership in this church...I hope we continue to see ourselves as one family, the family of God...," says Pastor Bailey of First Methodist.

He and his wife, Nancy, have three sons. You are invited to hear Pastor Bailey each weekend.
