We are always here to address your concerns. If you are experiencing issues with your
electric, cable,or internet services please call our office 319-332-0100. We are open
from 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday, with the exception of Holidays.
                                                                                                                                                 
Our office is located at 700 7th Ave NE Independence, IA 50644.
                                                                                                                                                 
If in the event you require service after hours you may call our office at 319-332-0100.
Follow the attendant options for Electrical or Telecommunications. All Electrical troubles
will be forwarded to the Independence Safety Center and dispatched. All
Telecommunications troubles will be directly forwarded to the technician’s cell phone.
                                                                                                                                                 
While the Electric Utility maintains 24x7 continual support the Telecommunications Utility
utilizes an on-call schedule for call outs. The Telecommunications Utility will monitor
phone activity 24x7 in the event of system wide troubles but will only handle random
troubles within the on-call schedule. Any calls received outside of this schedule will be
answered in the order received the following day.
                                                                                                                                                 
Telecommunications On-Call / Call-Out Schedule:
Monday through Friday including Holidays:                       4:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday:                                                                                   10:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday:                                                                                     12:00pm to 4:00pm
                                                                                                                                                 
The Telecommunications Technician on-call reserves the right to determine if deemed
necessary to complete call-out. Generally, if it is discovered that the end user is having
troubles with their equipment (owned and maintained by customer) then that customer
may be charged 1 ½ timesour normal call-out rate.
