Cable TV Rate Increase Effective July 1
Dear customer/ owner,
As your hometown provider, Independence Light & Power, Telecommunications, “IndyTel” continuously works to keep all rates as low as possible without compromising service quality and reliability.
This year there will be no increase in rates for both Internet and Phone service. The majority of Cable TV customers will see an increase in rates due to the ever increasing fees we pay to the owners of local broadcast stations and cable networks.
The below information is intended to explain the most common packages currently offered and what their rate and structure will be effective July 1st 2018.
- Our Lifeline Basic package (currently $22.95) which includes channels 2-35, will remain $22.95 per month with no increase in rate.
- The Standard Basic package (currently $59.95) which includes channels 2-95, will change to $63.95 per month, an increase of $4.00.
- The Standard Plus package (currently $69.95) which includes channels 2-136, will change to $72.95 per month, an increase of $3.00.
