About IL&P,T TV
IL&P,T's state-of-the-art cable television system is a Hybrid
Fiber-Coaxial infrastructure serving 175 homes per node technology.
This design allows us to deliver excellent television signals,
High Definition Television Channels, Digital Video Recorders,
really fast Internet connections and crystal clear, reliable
digital telephone services to Independence residents and businesses.
Cable television
services were launched in October of 2000 and High Speed Internet services were
launched in May of 2001. The citizens of Independence have been tremendous
supporters of the new telecommunications system and each year, on average,
Independence customers save approximately $425,000 in telecommunication costs
when compared to our competitors costs in surrounding communities. Our
competitor matches our prices here in Independence and all the citizens of
Independence benefit.
The $425,000 in consumer savings is good for
residents and businesses alike. The additional savings leads to additional
sales for local businesses. It only makes cents! Instead of sending all of this
money to a corporation in another State, it stays here in Independence. We want
to thank all of our loyal customers for ignoring the competitors special offers
(that always have an expiration date and are only good for new customers).
IL&P,T doesn't offer gimmick specials to attract customers, just great
service and steady pricing.
In 2006 IL&P,T launched digital telephone service to Independence
residential and business consumers.
